Today we find out if opening Panini Monopoly Basketball Prizms are worth the unbox or not. Monopoly Prizm Basketball cards were on sale after black friday, for like $7, and then a further discount to bring them down to like $5 to $6. So with 4 cards a pack, 6 packs at that range, surely the basketball gods will smile upon a lucky soul like myself and allow me to pull some awesome basketball cards right? The card designs are reminiscent of Topps Chrome and other premier Panini basketball cards, only their branded with the Monopoly logo hence why they are Monopoly Basketball cards. We are lucky enough to pull some great basketball inserts like Victor Wembanyama, Giannis, Shai aka SGA, Luka Doncic and many more including legends like Maginc Johnson, Larry Bird, Allen Iverson and many more. The monopoly basketball sets come with both current players and legends with different card designs as well as coming with special inserts and serialized or numbered cards. Its a fun set to open but only at a fair price, I think normal retail for these is anywhere from $14.99 to $19.99 which is a complete rip off and you should avoid unless you truly feel lucky. Try to get these monopoly sets are a discounted price and you'll be much happier consider the last few years, 2022, 2023,2024, and 2025 monopoly prizm sets have had disappointing returns as shown by this video.
